Discipleship
One of See the Light’s main ways of accomplishing its vision and mission is by creating a culture of learning and leadership for the next generation. Jesus was a great teacher of truth. Yet, He also devoted His life to investing in others in a loving and sacrificial way. He cared well, served faithfully, and taught often. He said “Come, follow me” to ordinary people who He knew could have an extraordinary impact in the world for the kingdom. They became His disciples. The idea of discipleship is a God inspired way to transform lives for an eternal purpose.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20
There is a multiplying effect that takes place by learning scripture, applying it to our lives, and teaching others also. It creates a generational priority of walking by the spirit, being fully devoted to Jesus, and living in community so that the gospel can spread to the ends of the Earth. World impact can begin with a one on one relationship, grow in small group learning, and be implemented powerfully with a high eternal return of investment.
Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good.
Titus 2:3
See the Light prioritizes the way Jesus chose to reach the world. He chose to invest in a chosen small number of disciples so that He could reach many others through them. Bringing together women to live a life genuinely, transparently, and intentionally in close proximity-with & for Jesus and each other – is of high value. We reach this goal by doing monthly ladies nights & hosting a leadership program for young women where discipleship is the key component. When ladies choose to live life alongside of each other, there is benefit for everyone! We were created for community and thrive better because of it! Together, we can make a positive and lasting difference in this world!

Arise & Shine Leadership Program
In the Arise and Shine Leadership Program, women will learn, grow, teach, and serve in the context of a caring relationship. The truth shared and “life-on-life” experience will guide hearts & minds towards Christ, teach valuable leadership skills, and help equip & empower each individual to live fully with eternal purpose. This opportunity is set up to help young women navigate life by having an older woman lead them in learning scripture and living out the gospel. Arise and Shine will transform lives and be a blessing to the community!

These nights bring together women from all walks of life to enjoy a relaxing evening of connection, fun, laughter, learning, and praying with one another. This is a welcoming environment with new and familiar faces each meeting time. Any lady is welcome to come so invite others and bring a friend!
